The Kikut Tour
Varied round trip to traditional mountain cabin
This is a nice tour for active people who wish to stop for a snack and refreshments at Hakkesetstølen. Start from Geilo Fjellandsby
by Kikutkroa, and follow the signposts halfway around Geilotjødne. From Geilotjødne you will travel partly on roadway and partly on a trail to Hakkesetstølen.
There you can eat and drink. From Hakksetstølen you can travel in the direction of Kikut Fjellstue, then enter Lometjødnvegen, on to the new ski bridge, and finally down to the old Skurdalsvegen by Kikut Nord. Here the route turns around and runs up to Geilo Fjellandsby and Geilotjødne.
Distance: 6 km
Surface: Gravel. Unsuitable for passenger trailers
Season: normally from the end of June to the first snow in October
