Originally constructed in the 1830s, Tuftebrui served as a vital crossing over the Ustedalsfjorden, facilitating movement and trade in the region. Due to deterioration over time, the original bridge was replaced in 1985 with a meticulously crafted replica, aiming to preserve its historical integrity. • The bridge is used for hiking and biking, but is also constreucted so that local farmes can drive their tractor. The bridge is not open for vehicles, no parking in the area, use the parking at road 7 and walk down trough the cabin area.
