Come and join us for a walk among the art and cultural treasures in the centre of Ål! The walk will take you all the way from the 12th Century and up til today.

The walk starts at Ål Tourist Information which is located in the Ål Culture house. The price is NOK 100 per person. Free admission for children under 16 years when accommpanied with an adult.

The cultural house has several art exhibitions, for example the Rolf Nesch Museum, well worth a visit.

In Ål Church you will see a copy of the famous painted ceiling, which once upon a time was to be found in Ål Stave Church. the stave church was demolished in 1880.

The walk ends at the Stave Church Museum. This museum exhibits parts of the old Stave Church which was regarded one of the most interestring buildings in medieval Norway.
