Horse riding in Nesbyen

Would you like to go horseback riding? The experience of exploring the lofty mountains from the back of a horse is truly exhilarating! Nesbyen has long, picturesque mountain areas that are ideal for horse riding. You can choose from short riding trips for beginners to longer ones for experienced riders.

Vassfaret Tour riding

Horseback riding in the high mountains from 24 June to 6 August 2023.

By Buvasstølan, beautifully situated approx. 30 minutes from Nesbyen, you have the opportunity to experience the high mountains and the fantastic view from horseback. Throughout the summer, Vassfaret Turridning offers guided horse riding tours. You do not need to have previous experience to participate. They also offer beginners tours.

Langedrag Nature Park

Langedrag offers a wide range of horse activities throughout the year, including riding lessons, mountain rides, driving lessons, vaulting, dog sledding, round riding, and more.

They also provide riding courses for all levels throughout the school year, as well as riding camps during school breaks. Individuals with disabilities are warmly welcomed. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by adults on our one-hour tours, while high-level riders under 12 years old can contact us for individual evaluation. We have a weight limit of 100 kg to ride our horses, and normal physical fitness and courage are required to ride on mountain trails. We recommend wearing shoes with heels that cover the ankles, as well as appropriate clothing for the weather. Our tours are suitable for all ages and skill levels.
