Iungsdalshytta

The tourist lodge Iungsdalshytta is beautifully situated in the middle of Skarvheimen, along one of DNT's hiking paths.

Here you are between Jotunheimen and Hardangervidda. You can choose a number of varied hikes in different terrain. The lodge is run by DNT, and has 48 beds divided between rooms with 2-, 4- or 6- beds. The lodge is open in the easter and in the summer. The rest of the year it's open for self-service, the key to the lodge can be rented from DNT.

How to get there

By car from the center of Ål via Vats, the Bergsjø area and to the car park in Toviki. About 45 min - 1 hour to walk on a nice path from Toviken, or you can call to book a boat ride on tel. +47 975 89 394. In winter, access on skis from the car park at Slakteplassen in the Bergsjø area or Myrland in Hol.
