Life at Oset and on Golsfjellet is magical. During the summer, there are long days with plenty of opportunities for various activities and quality time with your loved ones. Cycling, fishing, mountain hikes, frisbee golf, swimming, and canoeing are some activities you can experience when visiting us. In the winter, cross-country ski trails stretch for miles outside the hotel door, and the Bualie and Storefjell ski resorts are nearby. Skistar Hemsedal is just 40 minutes away if you're looking for more challenges. At the hotel, we rent cross-country skiing equipment and snowshoes.

And don't forget the delicious food we are renowned for. We believe that active days are best topped with a delightful meal. While you're out enjoying the mountains and perhaps ending the day with a sauna session behind the hotel, our chefs prepare delightful dishes for adults and children.

The hotel boasts 100 rooms, a swimming pool, conference facilities, a delightful lounge and restaurant cuisine, a lavvu for various events, and everything else you can expect from a modern hotel. Activities in Beautiful Nature
Situated by Tisleifjorden with views of Golsfjellet, Stølsvidda, Jotunheimen, and Hemsedalsfjellene, Oset is an excellent starting point for beautiful mountain days. There are countless activities to choose from in our vicinity—high and low, on and off the water. Fishing, cycling, kayak rental, hammocks, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ice skating, sauna, frisbee golf course, autumn market, and Christmas parties.

Outdoor Sauna
Outside the hotel, we have set up a sauna in beautiful surroundings. The sauna can be rented for up to 8 people throughout the year. It includes a changing room and an outdoor (cold) shower. Shower facilities are also available inside the hotel.

Frisbee Golf
We have a fantastic frisbee golf course at the hotel. Bring your family or friends for a round. Discs can be rented at the reception. For course overview and rules, download and check the UDisc app. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Shuffleboard
Shuffleboard, table tennis, and billiards are available inside the hotel. Invite your family or friends for an internal competition. Reserve time at the reception. We also offer loaner boards for various board games. May the best win.

Children's Hotel
There are many fun activities for children on and around the hotel. There is a large outdoor playground with swings and structures and a newly renovated playroom inside the hotel. We have rowboats available in the "duck pond"; contact the reception to reserve them.
