The Hallingdal Route is formerly known as the Adventure Route and runs through all the best known cross-country areas in Hallingdal. There is plenty of accommodation for those who want to ski the whole route. The Hallingdal Route South The Hallingdal Route follows Hallingdal both on the north and south sides of the valley. The south route runs from Ustaoset via Kikut, Sangefjell, Veståsen and Nes/Nesbyen to Norefjell, 144 km in total.

In Nes/Nesbyen, the route runs from the boarder to Ål municipality at Dyna mountain to Synstevatn over Hallingnatten and onwards to Flatvollen (or vice versa).
