Herbrand Heiohaugen Born 20 April 1882 death 12 August 1972
Herbrand lived on the farm Heiohaugen, to the left at the top of Børtnesødegårdene. The fields up there were so steep that they could almost be cultivated on both sides. Herbrand Heiohaugen had strong Christian beliefs, and used every opportunity to evangelize both at meetings and in daily life. One of is best qualities was that he knew the forests and mountains well. I had many great fishing trips with Herbrand from when I was 8 years old until I was 15. We both knew the best fishing lakes around Sevre power plant. I can't remember ever going home from one of out fishing trips without a good catch. I can not remember a fishing trip where we had a good catch when we on the way home.
I maintain that Herbrand was the best friend and buddy I ever had. Although the object is made entirely of scrap iron, I am convinced that he now has the place of honour he should have had years ago.
Herbrand Heiohaugen is placed outside Sevre power plant, 15 km from Nesbyen towards Oslo.
