Since 1879, the Dale of Norway factory has been crafting premium knitwear of 100% pure wool, inspired by beautiful Norwegian patterns. Since 1956, Dale of Norway has designed official sweaters for every Olympic and World Championship event, making the brand famous all over the world.
The village of Dale is nestled between steep mountains on the west coast of Norway, between Bergen and Voss. The historic Factory was founded in this valley utilizing the natural power of the local waterfalls, and the community of Dale was built as a result of this industry. Dale of Norway carries the Norwegian culture of knitting and designs, and continues to offer and develop traditional designs, as well as exclusive garments for sport and fashion.
Dale of Norway is one of the few textile industries that still produces in Norway. You are welcome to visit the “living museum” at Dale, to learn about the history of the village and the Factory, and you will see how the iconic sweaters are made today from design to a finished garment.
You will also be able to visit the Factory outlet. Here you will find the complete collection includingall new designs, as well as discounted products on a selection of the collection.

There is no charge for visiting the Factory Outlet and a limited part of the Museum.
