Guided Sunset Kayak Tour in Bergen

Join us on a kayaking trip in fantastic surroundings. Paddle between island and reefs in Herdlefjorden just outside Bergen. Pick up at Tourist Information.

Come paddle into the sunset with us in the beautiful coastal fjord landscape north of Bergen.

In the unique glacially formed landscape along Herdlefjorden, we will immerse ourselves in tranquil nature while paddling by bird sanctuaries and protected cultural heritage sites. Our experienced guides weave natural, historical and cultural highlights into the trip, creating a lasting memory.

Approximately half-way through the trip we’ll take a break and have dinner in the setting sun under the open sky, or in a sheltered World War II cave, depending on the weather conditions.

When we return to base, we will provide each guest with a drink (cider, beer, wine or soda), that you can enjoy while we exchange pictures and impressions from the trip.

The paddling takes 3.5 hours and the maximum number in the group is 10 people.

Upon arrival at our Herdla base, you will be suited up and given a safety briefing before taking to the water for a 5-hour guided tour around the protected inland islands and reefs of Herdlefjorden and Hjeltefjorden.
