When you visit a boteco in Brazil, you enjoy good food and drink in atmospheric surroundings, spending quality time with family and friends. A boteco is not meant to be too fancy or stiff, but a place where everyone can feel comfortable!

Here, you can order both lunch and dinner with dishes from Brazil, Portugal, and other tropical countries. At Boteco, you will have a flavorful and exciting experience. Enjoy delicious food and drinks in a cozy setting. The vintage interior with elements of Kristiansund's history creates a personal atmosphere in the restaurant. The dishes may be inspired by Brazilian cuisine, but the interior style comes from the owners' passion for antique furniture. By combining these two sources of inspiration, they have created their own little boteco in Kristiansund!

In the summer, you can enjoy your meal on the cozy outdoor terrace. The outdoor seating is open when weather and temperature permit — usually from May to September.

In the basement of Boteco, the same owners operate the stylish event space, The Spot, accommodating up to 90 guests in surroundings as atmospheric as the restaurant itself.

The hosts at Boteco are Marcos and Øyvind Thorsen. Marcos, originally from Corumbá in Brazil, has lived in Norway for many years, blending Brazilian flavors with Norwegian ingredients. Øyvind is from Kristiansund, with a great passion for vintage interiors that tell a story. Together, they offer delicious food and exciting interiors for your eyes to feast on.
