Bud Coastal Museum and Ergan Coastal Fort






Bud Coastal Museum contains the Ergan Coastal fort, and the Coastal Culture Centre, which is an exhibition from Bud and the region.
The German coastal fort was built during the war years of 1940-45. Today it is restored as a war memorial museum. Exhibitions of local and regional events from World War II.
Bud Costal MuseumThis exhibition is about the cultural history, marine biology and maritime archaeology. Ergan also has exceptional views over the fishing village of Bud and the waters of Hustadvika. During World War II large parts of the Norwegian coast was occupied, and Bud was one of these local communities under siege from 1940-1945.
Along the stretch Bud-Kristiansund there are several historical war memorials marked with information boards
Guided TourDuring the summer season, there is a guided tour at the Coastal Culture Exhibition and Ergan Coastal Fort at 12:00, 13:00, and 14:00.
