E-bike trip to Kolmanneset in Åndalsnes

Kolmanneset is a public recreation area with great views of Åndalsnes and the surrounding mountains. Follow the Isfjordvegen road along the fjord from the centre of Åndalsnes, and continue cycling on the bike path towards Isfjorden. At the end of the bike path, cycle through the centre of Isfjorden. The route passes Hen church from the 1830s, and Woldstad Gard a little further on. You can visit its farm shop or have a bite to eat. Continue on the old road to Tokle, where the clothing factory museum is well worth a visit (check opening hours). From here, you cycle on the country road that runs parallel with the main road along the fjord. Before the two roads merge into one, you have to cross the main road on foot to get to Kolmanneset. Dismount your bike and follow the path through the trees. Kolmanneset is an idyllic recreation area. You’ll have no trouble understanding why several of the famous National Romantic painters depicted Romsdalen from this very spot.
