Eikesdal Camping

Eikesdal Camping has a simple, calm and harmonious atmosphere with nature in focus.

Eikesdal Camping is close to Eikesdalvatnet, the river Aura and Vertshuset Eikesdal. Eikesdal Camping is centrally located in Eikesdal. 3.5 km you may visit Mardalsfossen. Large parking space and an easy walk up to Mardalsfossen, which is Northern Europe's longest waterfall.

From Finset you can drive the beautiful trip over the mountain, Aursjøvegen. The road offers a fantastic view down into Eikesdalen! On the trip up to the mountain you will find giant pots right by the road with crystal clear water. Make sure to stop at Aurstaupet which is 950 meters.

The campsite has 40 permanent year-round pitches for caravans, pitches for "drop-in" guests with caravans, motorhomes, tents, etc. and 6 cabins with 4 beds in each cabin. Sanitary facility with toilets, showers, kitchen and washing machine. The eatery, Vertshuset Eikesdal, is only 200 merters from the campsite. In the summer of 2022, you will find the reception for the campsite at Vertshuset Eikesdal.

Renta boat, kayak and tennis court. at Eikesdal Camping You may also rent the equipment needed for this. The campsite is located in the middle of the "center" of Eikesdal and is a good starting point for many great trips that are everything from small hikes to more challenging trips. You will find maps and information and tips for hikikg from our wellknown staff.

Eikesdal Camping is open from about 1 May to the end of September. Spring, summer and autumn are fantastic in their own way!
