Farstadsanden beach

Farstadsanden is the world's northernmost sandy beach area of the southern type, with the open sea right in front of you. The beach is a little piece of paradise nestled beautifully between farms and coastal landscapes. This is an easily accessible recreational area, and the bay is protected as a nature reserve.

The area was updated in 2020 with new toilet facilities and an expanded parking lot.

How to get there? Drive on RV663, turn off at Farstad towards the parking lot at Farstadsanden (signposted from the main road).
