Gjerdebua accomodation

Gjerdebua is located in the centre of Midsund, with cafés and shops just around the corner. Several scenic hikes, such as the Midsund Steps, Digergubben, Trollhesten and Akslahaugen, are all within walking distance. Gjerdebua is also a great place for fishing or for gathering family and friends for a celebration – a party venue on the ground floor can be rented and accommodates up to 50 people.

There are two spacious apartments of 173 and 165 sqm. The largest sleeps 9–11 guests and has four bedrooms, a games room with billiards, two bathrooms with showers, and access to both washing machine and dryer. The living room is large and open, connected to a modern kitchen and a small balcony.

The second apartment is on the top floor – cosy and charming, with three bedrooms, one of which has a private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. It also offers a large living room, loft, guest toilet and a French-inspired kitchen. The apartment sleeps 8–10 guests if some share rooms.

With its own marina, Gjerdebua makes it easy to head out to sea. Four boats are available for rental – perfect for fishing trips or sightseeing. Three of the boats are Øien 620s with 60 and 70 hp engines, and the fourth is a QuickSilver 21-foot boat with an 80 hp Suzuki engine. A separate fish cleaning facility is available by the harbour. Both holiday apartments are located by the marina and quayside.

The sauna Gjerdebua is located right by the waterfront, with views across the sea – a perfect place to unwind, recharge and enjoy the peacefulness of nature.
