Havkroa hotel

Havkroa is beautifully situated on Veiholmen, on the island of Smøla. This small hotel offers 5 newly renovated rooms, all with a shower and toilet. Four of the rooms also come with a kitchenette.

Today, the building stands proudly as an important gathering place and a historical cultural landmark for the fishing village of Veiholmen.

Havkroa has a restaurant and bar during the summer. For the rest of the year, you can purchase homemade food via the Trust Shop, a self-service solution. It is very popular among both locals and visitors to the fishing village. Havkroa also hosts a range of concerts and events throughout the year.

Veiholmen is located at the northernmost point of Nordmøre, right at the edge of Smøla, surrounded only by the Norwegian Sea. Veiholmen is also known as the "Capital of the Sea" and is a fascinating, vibrant fishing village that has existed for over 1000 years. It is especially suited for gatherings, reflection, and socializing. It’s easily accessible via Kristiansund Airport, with a quick boat trip to Smøla, or by taking a fast boat to Smøla from Trondheim.
