The Innerdalen valley has been called the most beautiful mountain valley in Norway. No vehicular traffic, the sound of waterfalls and lakes surrounded by majestic mountains - here you can truly find peace. The walk to the valley runs along the dirt road. Starting point and tour description: Drive along RV70 (between Kristiansund and Sunndal, about 16 km from Sunndal), take off on the north side of the road at Ålvundeid and follow the asphalt road into the small parking lot at Nerdalen (approximately 10 km). From the parking lot at Nerdalen / Innerdalen there is a gravel road to the inner valley. The road has some uphill, steeply at times as well with the calculating time. From the parking lot of Inner valley, it takes about 50 - 60 minutes to go, somewhat more if you bring a child. Well within the valley, you can visit Renndølsetra or Innerdalshytta. Both are open during the summer and you can stay or just buy you a cup of coffee, a waffle or dinner. Innerdalstårnet, the most prominent mountain in the valley, is known from Norwegian tv-series "Blåfjell"and is also a classic among mountain people in Norway. The tower can be climbed alone or preferably together with a guide from Contrast Adventure.
