Hike to Magnhildberget

The Magnhildberget mountain hike is a steep but relatively short hike. It takes just over 2 hours to complete the round trip without breaks. Steep and beautiful hike, but the view is stunning!
Magnhildberget has a distinctive appearance and is a well-known landmark visible from Kristiansund. The mountain is 586 meters above sea level, located in the outer part of Tingvoll. The hike is steep and can be slippery in wet conditions. At the top, you are rewarded with an amazing view of Kristiansund, Smøla, Tustna, and Halsa.
About the hikeFrom Magnillen Camping, the path follows a gravel road for a few hundred meters. From there, the trail is well-marked all the way to the top. The trail starts steeply through the forest before the terrain flattens out. The steepest section follows the mountain ridge, but the trail is clearly marked. Enjoy the view from all directions at the top!
