Kaldtinden (1115 m.a.s.l.)

Very nice alpine ski tour through a great terrain with a fantastic view towards Romsdalsfjorden. Gentle ascent along the prominent east ridge most of the way to the top. Classified as an easy tour. Powder or soft spring snow are ideal conditions for skiing at Kaldtinden.
You can also make a detour to the neighbour top; Grøntind. Park the car at Moen farm (private parking), on the north-west side of the river. Follow the tractor road up the hill side, keeping to the left in the beginning. The tractor road goes almost up to the old mountain farm. From the farm houses follow the ridge to the summit of Kaldtind. Just before the top there is a flank, from here the easiest way to the top is to cross westward over to the left and follow the south ridge up to the top.
Back down you can follow the same route, or if the snow conditions are good, ski straight down from the top.
