Café and restaurant on mount Varden, the "top of Molde". Open from May to September. From Varden (407 m.o.h.) you can see the Molde panorama with its 222 mountain peaks, many islets and islands, and Molde town down by the fjord. There is a driving road (3 km) all the way from the city center, which opens in May every year. We also recommend walking by foot, via the "green corridor", which is signeposted from the city center, via Reknesparken and Romsdalsmuseet and onwards to Varden. The trip takes about 1.5 hours hiking one way.
Capacity of the restaurant of 50 people. We also provide catering for small and larger groups.
Welcome to Vardestua!
