Soggebru Camping is the perfekt place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature by the riverside. The camp site is located only a few hundred meters from E136, 5 kilometres from Åndalsnes town.
Soggebru Camping is a small, traditional camping ground, with 4 basic cabins.
From the camp site you can watch the sun rising above the majestic Mt Vengetind early in the morning, follow its way over the Mt Romsdalshorn, and the Trollveggen, where it ends up reflecting in the Rauma river in the afternoon, and finally set over the mountains in west. If you turn your head in the east direction you can enjoy the view towards the famous Romsdalseggen ridge. Here you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the river after hiking the Romsdalseggen ridge, or take a fresh morning bath. Imagine jumping into a hot and fresh sauna after a refreshing swim. Here at Soggebru Camping you can rent your own sauna.
Soggebru offers a simple, but very cosy atmosphere. It is a great place to stay to get close to great nature experiences in Romsdalen.
The sandy river banks next to the camp site is one of the nicest gems in Romsdalen valley, and is a great place for swimming, canoeing or stand up paddle board. The beach is a paradise for young children who loves to play in the sand by the waterfront, when their parents are watching.
Soggebru Camping is an ideal starting point for sightseeing trips to Trollstigen, Geiranger, Ålesund or the Atlantic Road.
Facts about the camp site
4 cabins with electricity, fridge, 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4), and cooking facilities. Duvets/Pillow + Bedlinen can be rented. Toilets and shower possibilities in the service building on the camp site. Some spots for electricity for caravans/camping cars.
