Sunndal Cultural Centre, centrally located in Sunndalsøra, offers a diverse cultural program throughout the year, including a robust cinema schedule
The venue hosts galleries with various exhibitions. It is also the regular venue for the National Theatre, "Teateret Vårt", and Jazz Theatre.
Every June, the musical "Lady Arbuthnott" draws over 3,000 attendees with eleven shows. Concurrently, "Ørafest" livens up the square with performances from local and national musicians. The gallery, in collaboration with Sunndal Art Association, showcases permanent exhibitions. The cinema features two halls with over 700 film screenings annually.
Outside, a skatepark and playground are available.
Additionally, Sunndal Volunteer Centre, aiding individuals and organizations in volunteer recruitment and activities, is located within the cultural centre.
