The Mirror at Grautaneset

At the foot of the spectacular mountain Tustnastabben lies the scenic and secluded headland Grautaneset. On one side, you can enjoy the sea view and watch the sun disappearing into the ocean at sunset. On the other side, you look directly up to the mountain Tustnastabben, which reaches 830 metres above sea level.

The Mirror cabin has mirrored glass windows on three of the room's four walls. It is not possible to look into the cabin from the outside, but from the inside you will have a clear view of the surrounding nature. The Mirror is equipped with everything you need for an unforgettable stay:

Upon arrival the hot tub is filled with warm water, inviting you to relax into the late hours. Enjoy the tranquil experience with views of the sunset or the starry sky. With minimal light pollution, this is an excellent spot for stargazing.

Aure municipality, and especially the island of Stabblandet where Grautaneset is located, is known for fantastic hiking opportunities. There are two mountain ranges on Stabblandet, the compact Innerbergsalen/Stabben along the west side of the island, and the mountains Storøra and Litløra that continue in a smaller ridge along the east side of the island. Between these lies the valley of Soleimsdalen. Innerbergsalen, 908 metres above sea level, is the highest mountain in Aure municipality and also the highest island peak in Southern Norway. The island of Tustna lies just across the strait from Grautaneset, and here you will also find excellent opportunities for hiking, fishing, and experiences.

Grautaneset is not far from the sea. Here, you can fish, swim, or just relax on the rocks and enjoy life. The Mirror is well suited for a romantic nature experience. The cabin is located in very steep terrain and is considered unsuitable for small children.
