Head west from Molde on RV662 to Hollingsholmen, where you take the ferry to Aukra (15 min). On Gossen, visit Løvikremma Kystgard and the Rokta Monument on Rindarøya. Ferry from Småge to the fishing village Ona (about 1 hour 30 min), Norway's southernmost living fishing village with only 20 permanent residents. The small island community has a summer café, several accommodation options, and two pottery workshops. Ona Lighthouse (1867), 15 meters tall, is positioned at the island's highest point, offering a fantastic view of the sea and mainland. Don't miss the walk over the bridge to Husøya.

Take the ferry from Ona to Finnøya (45 min), where the magnificent bathing complex "Håp i Havet" is located. Finnøya is connected to Harøya, where windmills line up. Ferry from Myklebust to Dryna (about 1 hour), then drive to Midsund. From the ferry landing, it's a short walk to the Franskhelleren cave, and on the way, you can stop to see the Bjørneremshellerne, 200 meters from RV668. The Midsund Steps offer various hiking options - check their own description for this. This area was also the old national border. Continue along FV202 on Otrøya. In Heggdalsvika, visit a restored millhouse from the 1880s. Ferry from Solholmen to Mordalsvågen (15 min) and return to Molde via RV662.
