Woldstad Gard - farm

Woldstad Gard is located in beautiful Isfjorden with views of the fjord and the mountains, about 7 km from Åndalsnes. The farm dates back to 1654 and has since been owned by the Woldstad family.

Woldstad Gard has various function rooms for weddings, anniversaries, family celebrations, birthdays, confirmations, corporate parties, Christmas parties, courses / team building and the like. The premises are designed for 10 - 80 people.

Open for groups travelling both for lunch, dinner and storytelling/culture like folk songs etc.The farm restaurant is fully licensed and serves food and drinks for all occasions. All visits must be booked in advance.

The food we serve is as local as possible, a lot is grown on the farm, or picked in the forest nearby.

Woldstad Gard will tailor make the  wishes of the group visiting, and serve both traditional Norwegian cooking, and more modern style of eating, like for instance tapas, inspired by the Mediterranean kitchen although with our own twist.

In the farm shop you will find our homemade jams and jellies, handicrafts and Norwegian design clothes.The shop is open when we are here, call before coming, or just take a chance and pop in.

In the Barn we also have an art gallery, with local art for sale. The farm also has a couple of nice rooms for rent, a beautiful garden/outdoor space with several seating areas, as well as a lovely orangery.

In the wood, close to a river, (5 min walk) we are developing the area “Camp Løvin”, today you will find a sauna, hot tub, barbecue area and more here. 2 electrical bikes for rent.
