Steep mountains, glittering fjords, and world-famous attractions like The Troll Wall, The Atlantic Road and the Romsdalseggen ridge. Buckle up for adventure in Northwest!

The northern corner of Fjord Norway is where you’ll find Northwest. Home to some of Norway’s most iconic mountains and fjords, the region is a sought-after place for active outdoor enthusiasts.

Go hiking, fishing, or cycling in summer, or cruise down long descents in winter. Northwest is where you come to take your passion to the next level.

The main towns – Molde, Kristiansund, and Åndalsnes – are all strategically located close to the Norwegian Scenic Routes Geiranger-Trollstigen and The Atlantic Road. While Molde is famed for its jazz, roses and panoramic views, Kristiansund is often associated with clipfish, opera, and its four islands. In Åndalsnes, you can learn about Northwest’s proud mountaineering history.
