Dønhaug Gjestegard

This holiday house from 1900 is situated at the Dønhaug farm in Uskedalen with a panoramic view of the mountains and the Hardangerfjord. At Dønhaug you can stay overnight, and sometimes also participate in cultural events. The holiday house was renovated in 2003, and it was important for the owners to take care of the original atmosphere of the house. Six double bed rooms, in three of them an extra bed may be added. A large kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. The house is well suited for two families travelling together. The house is fully equipped, and bed linen may be hired for NOK 100 per person. Wi-Fi, five bicycles, cable-TV and an outdoor area with a playground is included. When staying two nights or more, there is a discount.

The Dønhaug barn can be hired for weddings, concerts, dances and other arrangements during the summer months, and has a seating capacity up to 250 persons.

The Dønhaug cellar is a pub and function room with a seating capacity of 70 persons. This is the basement of the holiday house, and has a distinctive interior including an open hearth.
