Parking, start and end point: Kvinnherad church.

Marking: Sign for Kvinnherad church from the quay area in Rosendal. Sign pillar by the church. From the car park 500 meters to Bjørke, where an information board is set up at the turning point 150 meters before the roadblock. From Åsvodl, signs and T-markings show up the hill.

Elevation difference: 100 - 490 masl

TOUR REVIEW: From the car park by the church 500 meters to the turning point at Bjørke. From there gravel road to Åsvodl where the road flattens out. Signs here refer to T-marking. First forest road 300 meters and then path with partial "Sherpa stairs" up the hill to the top. The large peak cairn was set up for Rosendal Turnlag's 100th anniversary in 2001. From here there is a 360-degree view of mountains and valleys, sea and fjord landscape, and the world's 3rd longest fjord, the Hardangerfjord.

GOOD ADVICE: From Skålafjell there are T-marked trails to Vevik, Sjethaug / Neslia, Kjeldestøl, Skåladalen / Ludnabekk, Nordlifjell and Myrdal. Use your imagination to put together interesting trips.
