Tyssedal at Tyssohallen

About the trail 
Enjoy a hike to the top of Tyssedal’s pipe trench. Follow Route 13 from Odda towards Kinsarvik to Tyssedal. Follow signs to Skjeggedal for 2 km. In the summer time, park at P1 Tyssohallen. The path leading up is waymarked and well maintained with steps, handrails and stairways. The tour ends at the top of the power plant pipelines. There are stunning views of the glacier and Sørfjorden from here. The breathtaking view of Sørfjorden and Folgefonna is an added bonus. This is an exciting hike, suitable for adults as well as children. Guided tours provided by the Museum of Science and Industry during the summer season. The guard's house hosts a summer open café.

Parking: Follow the Trolltunga sign at the crossroads at route 13 in Tyssedal. Drive 1.5 km and park at Tyssohallen.

Length: 2 km (one way)
