About the trip
This is an easy walk through the impressive Simadalen valley. At the beginning you walk on the path along the river, then you continue on a small paved road followed by a gravel road to the end of the road. There is very little traffic on the road. After approx. 5 km up in the valley you can enjoy the view of Skytjefossen waterfall which can be an impressive sight during spring!

Sima powerplant, 6.5 km from the centre of Eidfjord.
About the trail
This is an easy hike through an impressive valley. In the beginning, it follows the path along the river, then it continues on a small paved road, followed by a gravel road. There is very little traffic on the road. In the spring, the Skytjefossen waterfall can be a magnificent sight! You may take a shorter walk on the road – even a 1 hour walk will be pleasant
