Ski along Folgefonna – Folgefonni Glacier Team
The two-day Folgefonna crossing from Jondal to Rosendal is a strenuous but beautiful spring ski tour through a unique glacier landscape.
The Ski alon Folgefonna tour is Norway's most beautiful spring ski tour. On your way, you will be a part of a unique landscape with a panoramic view of the fjord, the mountains, and the sea.
However, it is a strenuous tour that lasts two full days, starts in Jondal, and ends in Rosendal. On the first day, there are about 10 hours on skis and about 12 hours the next day. This tour is therefore only suitable for experienced skiers. You will spend the night in a DNT mountain hut (Fonnabu or Holmskjær). The season for the Folgefonna crossing is in May, and only when the weather conditions are suitable.
