Slåttenuten from Solhaug

The Slåttenuten is a medium-long trip from Norheimsund, which is very popular due to the incredible view.
From the car park at Solhaug, follow the path along the pipeline.
The trip goes steadily upwards with some steep sections. The path and the pipeline lead you up towards Krokavatnet.
After passing the pipeline on a wooden platform, you look for a sign with "Maste" on it, pointing to the left. Follow the path to Maste.
Up at the antenna mast, the path continues in a southerly direction. You see Slåttenut from Maste. It is the last height you see before the higher Tørviknuten/Vesoldo massif takes over the horizon.
About halfway between Maste and Slåttenuten, there is a junction where a path from Tindadalen towards Aksneshedla crosses the path to Slåttenuten.
On Slåttenuten, there is a small cairn and a great view of the fjord and the fjord.
Return the same way, or visit Aksneshedla for a slightly longer trip.
