Utne Hotel
The historic Utne Hotel was opened in 1722 and has been in operation as a hotel ever since. It has only 17 rooms, all with charming, historical, and individual interior. If you are looking for authentic experiences, the Utne Hotel is just right for you.
The Utne Hotel is Norway's oldest listed wooden hotel, and has been in continuous operation for 300 years. It all started in 1722, back then as an inn with a stove, a kitchen, and one bedroom. Since then, the Hotel Utne has offered its guests quality and tradition.
Here you will spend the night authentically, in a historical setting, in a building with a long history!
What is special about the Utne Hotel is that it has always been run by women with strong personalities - “Mor Utne” (mother Utne) run the hotel for 70 years. Now Jon Aga is host of the hotel and makes sure that you will not miss anything during your stay.
