From Vesoldo, you have a fantastic view both in and out of the Hardangerfjord. You can reach the top from various starting points along the fjord.

From Strandebarm.
Follow the marked trail (red route) and T-marking up the wooded slope. The path passes a viewpoint with a bench before continuing onto a ridge, where you can view the Hardangerfjord, towards Tveitakvitingen and the alpine landscape of Kvinnherad. Here the trail splits into a red route (Vesoldo) and a blue route (Fadnastøl), but both lead to Vesoldo. During the snowmelt, the river is a bit big and rough on the path to Fadnastøl, so it's a good idea to follow the red route until you come to a bridge on the left. Cross over the bridge, and the støl Fadnastøl lies ahead in the path. The blue trail continues here to Koldal. After Fadnastøl, go straight ahead under the rock to the right. Follow the path and mark the route up the hill above the tree line. The T-mark ends here, but the trail is clear with small cairns.

From Norheimsund.
Follow the tractor road/path from Solhaug. Walk along or by pipeline to Krokavatn and continue on the marked trail on the east side of Krokavatnet, over Torsteinsheia, past Torsteinsvatnet and on to the stolen Aksneshiller. Furthermore, the route goes south-west towards Varafjell (to the right of Vesoldo) but then turns off onto a new path just before Varafjell, so you come out on the edge above Finnhiller just to the left of Varafjell. There is a clear path down to Finnhillervatnet (here, you must find the right "cleft" to get down to the lake). The course continues along the lake, past the old farmhouse and towards the southeast up the front of Vesoldo. Follow the path/cairns up to the top, be aware that just below the top, the road turns from the right side and over to the left side of the mountain, so you come up to the top on the side towards Tørvikanut. A longer trip than from Strandebarm, but at the same time more varied terrain and climb.

From Tørvikbygd.
Start the hike on an uneven tractor road from Tveiten to Augastadstølen. Here you will cross a marsh and come to a new tractor road that will take you up to Finnhillervatnet. From here, you follow an indistinct path inwards/upwards until you meet the main route from Krokavatn. From there, follow the path/cards up to the top. The path/cards will take you towards the right side of the mountain, and just below the top, round to the left again so that you will come up to the top on the side towards Tørvikanut.
