They are almost as active now as when they gave us timeless hits like Let Your Love Flow and If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body. Audiences can expect a string of country classics when the legendary Bellamy Brothers take the stage in Stavanger. We can't say for sure, but chances to see the brothers live on a Norwegian stage may be running out.

With a career spanning over 50 years, the brothers have released more than 50 albums and touched hearts worldwide with their lyrics and melodies. David and Howard Bellamy began their musical journey in 1968, achieving their greatest success with the album Let Your Love Flow in 1976. The album topped the Billboard charts, and over the years, they have had 20 number-one hits. As recently as 2011, they also topped the VG-lista in Norway.

The American duo had their breakthrough with the hit Spiders & Snakes, which sold over three million copies and cemented their place among the era’s biggest artists. However, it was Let Your Love Flow in 1976 that truly skyrocketed their fame. The song stayed on international charts for so long that they built a massive global fanbase. Love was certainly in the air as they toured the world, sharing stages with acts like The Doobie Brothers and The Beach Boys.

"We're a travelling people," Howard grins when asked how they still manage 200 concerts a year. "I think it’s even bigger now than in the ’80s. I believe the same people who grew up with us have raised a whole new generation of Bellamy fans. It warms a musician’s heart to see so many young people at our shows."
