Bjorland at Ogna Scene
Bjorland invites you on a journey through the stream of life through beautiful and exploratory music, where jazz, pop and song meet in a backwater of feelings and dreams.
Like the water flowing its way, we are all small droplets in the stream of life. On our way from, and to, a place. Sometimes the water follows the easiest path. Sometimes obstacles appear. In the moments when life's currents cut out, you find yourself both inside and between questions and answers. You are floating in a backwater. One that sooner or later changes direction and draws you back to the main dream.
Musically, Bjorland crosses a number of boundaries between jazz, pop and folk songs, and the music is both beautiful, progressive and experimental. The lyrics emerge from a backdrop of events such as bereavement, the loss of someone, and far lighter depictions of life such as the dream of an enchanting holiday.
