Thursday 27th November at 8 PM marks a new edition of Br. Rinde’s Hygge Club at Martinique.

Br. Rinde’s Hygge Club is a concert series at Martinique, curated by the Rinde brothers at Poor Edward. Key features of this series are good live music and a relaxed, cosy atmosphere.

This evening, MOIR and Hovering Orville will perform, alongside Poor Edward.

MOIR creates indie pop in dialect, somewhere between dreamy and danceable, melancholic and manic. With relentlessly honest lyrics about life in all its seasons, she strikes a chord with the audience. Her songs For Life and Liksom Voksen were featured on NRK Radio.

The brothers Kristian and Martin Rinde make up the ‘Nordic folk’ duo Poor Edward; sometimes wistful and understated, often energetic and uplifting, but always imbued with hope and melodic joy.

Hovering Orville will bring a quieter expression than usual. For one evening, the band sets aside its noisiest elements, but the dreamy, melancholic atmosphere remains. Floating, cotton-soft soundscapes—on a Thursday. Perfect.
