The music of Cirrus can best be described as European chamber jazz with elements and inspiration from among others Northern Indian classical music, French chansons and experimental popular music. What makes the quartet unique and exciting is the sound and proximity that the bass, saxophone, vocals and drums provide, without any electronic effects / instrument. The music is  self-composed, vigorously rhythmic and strongly melodic songs with plenty of room for improvisational sparks.
