Besides being an amazing person, Dag Vagle is one of Norway’s most gifted yet underrated artists. Since 2001, I have seen him live 20 to 30 times, and every performance has ranged from brilliant to mind-blowingly extraordinary.

He is best known as the frontman of Helldorado and Flying Shoes, but he is also a highly sought-after session musician. A touch of Dag Vagle elevates any musical project—it’s no wonder he is in high demand!

However, it is when he performs solo that he truly shines. Norway’s finest vocalist, regardless of gender or genre, he has a rare ability to combine modesty with authority, delivering music that feels both timeless and modern. And yes, he is also an exceptional guitarist.

His original songs are phenomenal, and he is one of the few artists who can honour legends like Roy Orbison, Mickey Newbury, Townes Van Zandt, and Tim Buckley so masterfully that you momentarily forget the originals.

Now, it is the rare opportunity to experience him live at his very best. Cancel the plans—there’s hardly anything better in Norway.

ARE YOU COMING BY TRAIN?

It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna Scene (15 min) but with Ogna Scene's Shuttle bus service, they pick up and drop off their fantastic audience members who are going to Ogna Scene at Ogna train station completely free of charge.

They arrange it so that those who take the train from Stavanger will be picked up at 18.50 (approx.). From Egersund 19.36 (approx.).

They will also bring you to the station after the concert.

Ogna Scene wants to make it easy and comfortable for you.

NB. They only have one car... If there are many people to be driven, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
