The Dance Department at Stavanger Cultural School has a long tradition of staging Dansefest at Stavanger Concert Hall. This year, Dansefest is inspired by Inside Out!

Dansefest 2025 explores the full spectrum of emotions that colour our inner world—a journey from the lightest joy in yellow to the deepest sorrow in blue, from burning anger in red to quiet fear in purple. This performance takes you on a visual journey where colours and emotions merge.

Dance students, from age 4 to adults, will perform in a variety of styles: ballet, jazz, show jazz, hip-hop, and modern/contemporary dance. Nearly 700 students will take to the stage over the two performance days.
