Get tickets hereThe Norwegian Organ Festival lets you experience some of the world’s most captivating orchestral works transformed into vibrant versions for organ and percussion. We hear carefully selected excerpts from, among others, The Planets by Gustav Holst, Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky, The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns, and last but not least, Boléro by 150th-anniversary celebrant Maurice Ravel.
Daniel Oyarzabal, who has specialised in the art of transcription, is the organist with Spain’s National Orchestra as well as at Getafe Cathedral in Madrid. His international career has taken him to concert halls in more than 25 countries. He is joined by his colleague from the same orchestra, Antonio Martin. The programme has already been a great success in many places across Europe.
