Deception is a symphonic death metal band from Stavanger, Norway. Drawing inspiration from heavyweights like Septicflesh, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Wintersun, Deception crafts a brutal and technical soundscape, shrouded in dark, majestic atmospheres through orchestral elements.

The 2021 album The Mire marked a pivotal point for the band, moving towards a more cinematic and aggressive sound. The release was well received both nationally and internationally. With their new album Daenacteh, released in 2024, Deception pushes their sound even further.

Deception is known for their intense live shows and has headlined several Norwegian tours and performed internationally. They've shared the stage with legendary acts like Hypocrisy, Insomnium, Testament, and Entombed, among others.

With Daenacteh, the band takes another step forward – expanding their musical expression with a broader soundscape, greater harmonic depth, and experimental sections.

Celestial Scourge is a brutal technical death metal group with members from across the country. Since 2021, they’ve released an EP in 2023 titled Dimensions Unfurled, which kicked things off, and an album in 2025, Observers of The Inevitable – their strongest release to date. The album was met with positive international reviews and was featured in the April 2025 issue of Decibel Magazine.
