Det Skandaløse Orkester is a cult band from Bergen that is unrivalled in Norwegian music history. They have been described as the weirdest, most fascinating and tightest band in Bergen and have been compared to artists such as Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, Prima Vera and Gartnerlosjen.

The concerts offer wild and reckless energy, beautiful melodies, screaming horns, bad humour, inappropriate dancing and erotic moaning bordering on madness. In terms of genre, it's a rollercoaster ride from prog and jazz via punk, folk and polka to country'n'western, rave and football music.

‘Now they've created a scandal again!’ (2014) and “Tenk om noen ser deg” (2018) are the band's two epic concept albums. The latter was named album of the year in Prognytt.

In 2019, they played at the Zappanale Festival in Germany, which resulted in the concert film ‘Legends of Europe’.

ARE YOU COMING BY TRAIN?

It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna Scene (15 min) but with Ogna Scene's Shuttle bus service, they pick up and drop off their fantastic audience members who are going to Ogna Scene at Ogna train station completely free of charge.

They arrange it so that those who take the train from Stavanger will be picked up at 12.50 (approx.). From Egersund 13.36 (approx.).

They will also bring you to the station after the concert.

Ogna Scene wants to make it easy and comfortable for you.

NB. They only have one car... If there are many people to be driven, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
