Dominic Miller – The Vagabond Tour 2025

Dominic Miller, best known as Sting’s long-time guitarist, comes to Maijazz with The Vagabond Tour.

With 12 solo albums, Dominic Miller has built an impressive career as an artist in his own right. His latest album, Vagabond (ECM Records), adds yet another highlight to his discography. The album blends jazz, pop, acoustic folk, contemporary classical, and Latin influences, creating a sound so unique it defies categorisation—but one that surely won’t remain without a label for long.

Born in Buenos Aires to an American father and Irish mother, Dominic studied guitar at Berklee College of Music (Boston) and the Guildhall School of Music (London). Since the late ‘80s, he has been a highly sought-after session musician, collaborating with artists such as Phil Collins, Katie Melua, Bryan Adams, Paul Young, Peter Gabriel, and Tina Turner.

Since 1991’s The Soul Cages, Miller has been involved in every Sting album and performed over a thousand concerts with the former Police frontman. He also co-wrote hits like Shape Of My Heart and La Belle Dame Sans Regrets.
