Driving Miles is a theatrical production written by Henning Mankell. The story takes place in a Norwegian town on the northwest coast with its own jazz festival.

In the production, a fictional character moves through a universe populated by real historical figures – both living and deceased. Among them are the legendary jazz trumpeter Miles Davis (1926–1991), a festival driver, a jazz-enthusiast scrap dealer, and a cuckoo from Montreux.

Through music, memories, and storytelling, the production pays tribute to jazz, its masters, and its enduring power. The performance explores how music and stories continue to live on – as long as they are played, heard, and told.

Driving Miles premiered at Moldejazz in 2010 and has since been performed at Oslo Jazz Festival, Teatret Vårt, and Oslo Nye Teater.
