En dags pause - En hyllest til Jahn Teigen at Ogna Scene
Welcome to a concert with En dags pause at Ogna Scene!
Get tickets hereWhen Jahn Teigen left us on 24 February 2020, he left a rare musical legacy for us all. He is arguably one of our most popular artists over a career spanning almost 50 years.
He was an artist who embraced everyone, from Grandma to Mum's little Ole.
En Dags Pause is a band that will honour Jahn Teigen. They were already up and running when Teigen left us, and received an acceptance from the artist himself to do so. An evening with them is a journey through 50 years of singing. It's only when you experience all these song treasures that you realise what an artist and songwriter Teigen was. With songs like ‘Mile after mile’, ‘My first love’, ‘One fine day’, ‘Optimist’ and ‘The most beautiful thing there is’, you get an evening where the sing-along factor is loose. In addition, there will be a story or ten from frontman Roar Antonsen.
En dags pause consists of experienced musicians from eastern Norway with 1000s of gigs behind them, who want you to enjoy a full evening of music by one of Norway's greatest artists.
En Dags Pause consists of:
Roar Antonsen - vocals, acoustic guitar
Gry Lepsøe - vocals
Fredrik Fernando Nilsen - keys, choir
Frode Spidsberg - guitar, backing vocals
Rune Bergflødt- bass, choir
Egil Johnsrud- drums, choir
