The Oscar-winning film Another Round (2021) becomes theatre at Humorhuset Stavangeren!

This autumn’s big production at Humorhuset Stavanger is the stage adaptation of the 2021 Oscar-winning film Another Round. On stage in Stavangeren is a stellar cast: Per Kjerstad, Ole Christoffer Ertvaag, Cato Skimten Storengen, and Rudi Bjørknes Gundersen. Together, they bring life, colour, and celebration to the well-known story:

Four high school teachers and close friends decide to test a theory — that humans are born with half a per mille too little alcohol in their blood. The idea is that a constant low level of alcohol opens one’s personality to the world and boosts creativity. The results are surprising. Both teaching and performance improve, and the friends begin to truly feel alive again. But as the alcohol flows, the experiment spirals — positively for some, and completely off track for others.
