Forest bathing and edible wild plants in the forest
Discover edible wild plants and the Japanese practice of forest bathing with Kristine Enger. Includes tastings of wild plant syrups and juices!
Kristine Enger from Sankeliv is coming to talk about edible wild plants found in the forest and something as exotic as forest bathing.
Shinrin-Yoku, or forest bathing, is a Japanese practice of mindfulness in nature. You will get to know some of the forest’s most important trees and edible plants while learning how to use the essential oils from forest plants to create balance in life. Kristine will also bring samples of juices and syrups made from edible wild plants.
The event is organised by Sola Folkeakademi in collaboration with Tananger Gardening Club, Sola Library, and Sola Kulturhus.
