A girl has locked herself in. A boy gives flowers to another boy. A girl is tied to a railing. A boy does not know who he is. A girl fears that something terrible is about to happen. A woman throws herself in front of a train. A heart falls out of a chest. A butterfly with a broken wing.

And suddenly they are there – with the universe in their chests, between hope and reality, between what they try to understand and what cannot be explained. KAOS is not one story, but a kaleidoscope of moments that mirror and collide with one another. Beneath it all lies something recognisable: the longing for connection and the desire for life to make sense.

Spectators meet young people trying to find their footing in a world that never stands still. They attempt to grasp the paradox of love – that it contains both order and chaos – as they search for boundaries, excitement, safety and something to hold on to. Soon they discover that nothing can ever be fully grasped.
